Padma Lakshmi was born back on September the 1st in 1970. Her birthplace is Madras, India. She has been in the United States for most of her life. Padma has a scar on her right arm from a car accident that happened when she was only 14 years old. Padma was married Salma Rushdie in April 17th of 2004. They later filed for a divorce on July 2nd, 2007. Recently Padma is most popular for being a host and judge on Bravo TV's, Top Chef.
